Zits by Jerry Scott5/24/2023 ![]() ![]() ![]() Jeremy may be the star of “Zits,” but Scott says he and Borgman are “equal opportunity offenders,” picking mercilessly on Connie and Walt Duncan, Jeremy’s bewildered but good-humored parents, Jeremy’s brother Chad and Jeremy’s friends, the bookish and mischievous Hector Garcia and sweet Sarah Toomey. But he’s also competent in a lot of areas and that makes him interesting.” These kids get a lot of flak that way –they’re lazy, they’re slackers, they do anything to get out of what they ought to be doing, they hate their parents all the time. “That’s the temptation in designing teen-age kids.
